From The Head Films is a video production studio based in Melbourne's south-east, built on a love of great filmmaking and great stories. We’re a small, hands-on team with the simple goal of making high-quality video production more accessible to businesses and organisations of all sizes.

Our lean and flexible approach allows us to deliver the kind of quality you’d expect from a larger production company without the costly overhead. Kaiser Tangso

Founder & Creative Director

Kaiser "The Laser" is an award-winning filmmaker with over a decade of experience across advertising, documentary, corporate, and narrative production. His particular strength lies in finding the human story at the heart of an idea and bringing it to screen with authenticity, emotion and a strong cinematic eye.

He developed his craft across directing, scriptwriting, cinematography, editing and audio production, giving him a deep understanding of the entire filmmaking process and a practical ability to guide a project from concept through to completion.

Whether working with experienced talent or real people stepping in front of the camera for the first time, Kaiser takes a relaxed and collaborative approach to directing, creating a space for natural, genuine moments to emerge. It’s this combination of storytelling, technical craft and human connection that he brings to every project.

Heather Tangso

Producer

Heather is a multidisciplinary artist and video producer who enjoys discovering the stories of others. With a passion for creativity and collaboration, she takes pride in helping ideas take shape and creating an environment where they can flourish.

At the heart of Heather’s approach is a belief in visual storytelling as a shared craft. She makes sure every voice is heard, every detail is cared for and everyone involved has the opportunity to contribute to the finished work.

Her background in visual arts brings a broad creative perspective to her work as a producer, along with a keen eye for what brings a project together. Above all, Heather finds fulfilment in helping create work that people can be proud of.
